Mr. Sandeep Arya is law graduate from Faculty -of- Law, University of Delhi, He is enrolled with Bar Council of Delhi since 2004. He is also member of Bar Association of Hon’ble Delhi High Court, since 2006, National Company Law Tribunal, New Delhi and many other Bar Associations & Tribunals at National & International echelons.
He has been practicing law since 2004 in streams of Corporate Commercial laws, especially Company Law, The Securitisation & Reconstruction Of Financial Assets & Enforcement Of Security Interest ACT (SARFASI),, FEMA, Insolvency & Bankruptcy Code , for corporate mandates of firm’s clients. Mr. S. Arya is also well versed with subjects of Intellectual Property Rights, Laws, Telecom, Media, Broadcastings, Cable Casting and Cyber Laws, ISP Licensing, Regulatory issues , related to Telecom Operators and Multi system Operators . Mr. S. Arya worked with reputed IPR firm during initial years, wherein he handled IP Registration, Prosecution and Litigation, his profile included Licensing & Assignments of IPRs of firm’s Clients, related to Trade Mark, Copy Right, and Industrial Design. He filed and contested the Suits of Infringement and that of Passing -of, at High Courts. For Managing the IP Portfolio of clients, and to secure and protect the IP rights he went to the extent filing Criminal Complaints of counterfeiting & Infringement under the Trade marks Act and Copy right Act too.
From 2006, onward he earned a great reputation in Company law cases at Company Court including Schemes of Mergers & Amalgamation of Companies, Winding-Up Petition and Appeal from Company Law Board. He handled solely the High Court team of corporate litigation firm based out in New Delhi. He managed Original Side and Writ Jurisdiction matters at Delhi High Court. In 2008 he started giving Consultancy on his subjects of Laws, with his understanding of handling litigation, exposure and experience to the top courts in the Country, Several business Houses, took him on board as a Consultant to manage their legal teams and take care of Pan India telecom Cases in (Telecom Dispute Settlement & Appellate Tribunal (TDSAT) and Supreme Court of India. In this dynamic role ranging from Litigation, Contract Management and Regulatory compliances of Multi Services Operator (Media/Content Distribution Platform) and Broadcasting business he delivered what was in the Business interest of Company. He is first among Lawyers to file Carriage Recovery cases against Broadcasters with favourable results, he also initiated unique kind of recovery cases against the CAS (Conditional Access Systems) period, defaulting service Providers where revenue sharing between the Stake Holder was to be ascertained on Model based on CAS System Data on Monthly basis, he had obtained many landmark judgment and orders from Tribunal and Courts for clients.
With stint exposure of several laws and practice areas he has developed an special skill, known as ‘Strategic Management of law suit/litigation’, where customized approach is adopted depending upon client’s requirement and its result oriented methods keeping in mind business prerequisites.
Currently with SBK Legal he appears and argues matter in, Delhi High Court Telecom Dispute Settlement & Appellate Tribunal (TDSAT) which is having Jurisdiction on laws of (Telecom, Media & Broadcasting, AERA, IT Act and Aaadhar Appeals) National Company Law Tribunal and Supreme Court, for heavy stake cases.
He provides consultancy to Telecom Operators operating Telecommunication/ ISP Companies, Telecom Infrastructure Companies, having Operations in European and U.S Markets with Global exposure. With his understanding of Law, ancillary Regulations , with perceptive of keeping the Business Interest paramount, in any dispute involving Legal understanding of matter.
